Game cam stuff

From here:  to see pictures, you have to clink on the link to the left and scroll down on the web page where it talks about I60 IR flash 6.0 MP

Security:  I made a 7 ½ X ¾ X 1/8 inch bar (see picture) and drilled a hole in each end to slip a Python cable through and it appears that this will work just fine for most security situations:

Also, a potential leak issue if tightening the strap too tightly:

A Word of caution to those new owners of the I-60 and I-40 and future owners of the M series. The strap loop on the right rear of the camera is positioned at the center of the 2 screws that hold the battery cover on. If mounted on a small tree where there is no support in this area and you tighten the strap too tight, you will see that the front of the battery cover lid will start to pull away and leave an opening that could cause a water leak. Do not over tighten the strap when mounting these cameras--go to this link

The web page is worth a look.  Talks about a simple tin rain lid and a way to dim the white IR emitters.

This website, http://www.chasingame.com/ covers a lot of good stuff on cameras
